The following is a short list of everyday Arabic phrases.
The Greatest Blessing Ever. Allah has bestowed countless blessings upon us. He has endowed us with the gifts of sight and hearing, the intellect, health, wealth and family. He has even subjected everything in the universe for us: the sun, the moon, the heavens and the earth, and many countless things, as the Qur’an states.

La illahah illalah (there is not God but Allah) – renewal of faith- لا إله إلا الله
Assalaamu Alaykum (peace be upon you) – by way of greetings- السلام عليكم
Wa alaykumus salaam (peace be upon you) – in reply to the greetings – و عليكم السلام
Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh (peace and mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you) – greeting that has 30 units of hasanat (rewards)! – السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Bismillah (in the name of Allah) – before making a beginning – بسم الله/بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
JazakAllahu khair (may Allah reward you for the good) -expression of thanks – جزاك الله خير
BarakAllahu feekum (may Allah bless you) – when responding to someone’s thanks – بارك الله فيك for single, for plural بارك الله فيكم
Fi Amanullah (may Allah protect you) – by way of saying good-bye – في أمان الله
Subhanallah (glory be to Allah) – for praising something – سبحان الله
Insha Allah (if Allah wishes/God willing) – for expressing a desire to do something or for something to happen – إن شاء الله
Astaghfirullah (I seek refuge in Allah)- repenting for sins before Allah – استغفر الله
Maa shaa Allah (as Allah has willed) – for expressing appreciation for something good – ما شاء الله
Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah) – for showing gratitude to Allah after success or even after completing anything – الحمد لله
Ya Allah (Oh Allah) – when in pain or distress, calling upon Allah and no one else – يا الله
SubhanAllah (glory be to Allah) – say when dismayed or shocked by something; glorifying Allah when see His creations – سبحان الله
Aameen (may it be so) – the end of a prayer – آمين
Salla Allah Alaihi wa salaam (peace be upon him) – said after the name of the Prophet Muhammad – to make prayers for him because he taught us so much. – صلى الله عليه وسلم
Alaihi salaam (peace be upon him) – whenever say the name of a prophet – عليه السلام
RadiaAllahu Anh/Anha (may Allah be pleased with him/her) – whenever say name of sahabi (one of the companions of The Prophet) – رضي الله عنه/ رضي الله عنها
Rahimullah (may Allah have mercy on him/her) – رحمه الله / رحمها الله
Inna lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji’oon (to Allah we belong and to Him is our return) – this is uttered as an expression of sympathy of the news ofsome loss or someone’s death – إنا لله و إنا إليه راجعون
La hawla wala quwata illa billah (there is no strength nor power except Allah) – لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله
SubhanAllahi azim wa bihamdi (glory be to Allah most Great and Worthy of Praise) – whoever says this Allah will build a palace for them in jannah – سبحان الله العظيم و بحمده
When someone else sneezes say: YUR-HAMOK-ALLAH (May Allah have mercy on you) – يرحمك الله
When repenting a sin say: ASTUGH-FER-ALLAH (Allah forgive me)- أستغفر الله
When giving to charity say: FI-SUBI-LILLAH (For the sake of Allah) – في سبيل الله
When having love for someone say: OHEBOK- Fi -ALLAH (I love you for the sake of Allah) – أحبك في الله
When getting married (& whenever) say: UMMUN-TO-BILLAH (May Allah Bless you withgoodness)- أمنت بالله
When parting from someone say: FI-UMMAN-ALLAH (May Allah protect you) – في أمان الله
When a problem appears say: TAWAK-KALTO-UL-ALLAH (I put my trust in Allah) – توكلت على الله
When unpleasantness occurs say: NA-UZO-BILLAH (Allah protect us) – نعوذ بالله
When pleasantness occurs say: TA-BARRUK-ALLAH (May Allah bless you) – تبارك الله
When participating in prayer say: AMEEN (May it be so; May Allah accept the prayer) – آمين
